RICHMOND: More two dozen businesses will participate in Lakeside’s 11th annual Holly Jolly Christmas on November 13 and 14. Shoppers will be able to ride the free Holly Jolly Trolleys along Lakeside Avenue between Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and Bryan Park Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shoppers will find vintage treasures, gourmet foods, unique gift items, home decor, and special sales and discounts. Santa Claus will be available for photos and donations will be collected for the Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad.
The Lakeside Farmers’ Market will host a special Friday night holiday market and its regular Saturday market (from 8 a.m to noon) Nov. 14, with a variety of homegrown and homemade food, clothing and gift items available for purchase from local vendors.
